Swiss Timing: For Kaohsiung

A delegation made up of representatives of the Kaohsiung Organizing Committee and of the International World Games Association traveled to Corgémont, Switzerland, and to the headquarters of Swiss Timing Ltd. The company is an international leader in providing sports with integrated solutions for timing, scoring and other aeras where technology is used in event administration.

Led by IWGA President Ron Froehlich, the delegation all but finalized an agreement that Swiss Timing will supply 2009 Kaohsiung with all the elements required for the accreditation, timing and result services at the multi-sport games.

With a view to all future editions of The World Games, Froehlich hopes to establish a long-term partnership with Swiss Timing.

Altius: Anna Dogonadze, GER 15 Mar 2005
Anna Dogonadze won the bronze at The World Games 1997 Lahti in women’s individual trampoline for herself and her native Georgia. When trampoline premiered in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Anna competed for Germany.
