John MacKinnon of The Edmonton Journal looks at roller sports' Olympic prospects in his article "Politics aside, IOC has a decision to make".

I can see the fit with roller sports: it hooks in that young demographic, after all. The soundtrack is hip. And how can you exclude it when you've already wooed snowboard cross, bump skiing, and their gnarly companions?

Easy. You tell the summer hot-doggers if they want to show it off at the Olympics, buy a touque and layer up.

Anna Dogonadze won the bronze at The World Games 1997 Lahti in women’s individual trampoline for herself and her native Georgia. When trampoline premiered in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Anna competed for Germany.
