Co Koren: 2010 Spirit of Sport Award

Co Koren, between 1993 and 2010 Secretary General of the International World Games Association, was decorated with the Spirit of Sport Award by SportAccord. With this prestigious award the umbrella organization of all international sports federations honored his achievements in the field of organizing sport events. The Dutch sports official (67) received the award in Dubai on Friday, 30 April, in the context of the Annual General Meeting of SportAccord. In his acceptance speech Co Koren, who also used to hold high-ranking offices in the Tug of War International Federation, said: "I am greatly honored to receive this award." He added on: "I have been with you all these years and I have always worked with pleasure. I am grateful for the friendship that I was allowed to experience cooperating with the family of sports."

Altius: Anna Dogonadze, GER 15 Mar 2005
Anna Dogonadze won the bronze at The World Games 1997 Lahti in women’s individual trampoline for herself and her native Georgia. When trampoline premiered in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Anna competed for Germany.
