Once In A Lifetime

'Once in a liftime you're the one ...,' the refrain of the official song of The World Games 2005 drills itself in. The lyrics are an inspiring pep talk aimed at the 3,500 athletes in pursuit of Citius! Altius! Fortius! between July 14 and 24. 'Fascinations brought you here!' Duisburg is the 'center of the world' and the stage on which the athlete's voice 'will be heard'.

THE OTHER SPORTS: ON TOUR

The 30+ World Games sports were on display at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, through November 12, 2006. The selection of superb photographs taken during The World Games 2005 Duisburg is now scheduled to tour the globe: exhibtions in Duisburg and Kaohsiung are planned.
